The joint winners of the Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award 2006, with prize money of 12,000 euros, are Martin Hilpoltsteiner of the Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt und Jonas Kartenbeck of the Fachhochschule Trier.

The jury of the Raymond Loewy Foundation honoured 26 of the more than 200 finals assignments submitted by German design students. Apart from the main prize, which was awarded jointly to two entrants in 2006, another 24 young designers received special recognition for their work.
